BATE Borisov won their 12th consecutive Belarus Premier League title in dramatic style on Sunday, snatching it away from rivals Dinamo Minsk with a 96th-minute equaliser.
BATE Midfielder Mirko Ivanic scored in the sixth minute of injury time to make it 3-3 and secure a point against Gorodeya, a result which meant his side won the league title on a better head-to-head record over Dinamo.
Dinamo beat Vitebsk 4-1 in their final match of the season moving them onto 68 points and to the top of the table at the final whistle, but they were denied their first title since 2004 by Ivanic's equaliser.
BATE trailed 3-1 with 12 minutes of normal time remaining but pulled off a miraculous turnaround to claim the title.
The club currently sit bottom of Group H in the Europa League, knowing that they must beat Arsenal on December 7 to have any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
