Bayer Leverkusen manager Sami Hyypia has admitted that he will consider resting a number of players for the second leg of their Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
The German side suffered a 4-0 home defeat to PSG on Tuesday, with Emir Spahic seeing red on a disappointing evening, and Hyypia believes that he may have to prioritise the Bundesliga following the loss.
"We will have to think which kind of squad we will take to Paris because we have a lot of important games in the Bundesliga," the 40-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"It was a very difficult game against very good opposition. After the red card we maybe did better with 10 men than with 11."
Leverkusen turn their attentions to the league on Saturday when they visit Wolfsburg.
