Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg have played out a 1-1 draw at the BayArena in the Bundesliga.
The visitors were busy in the opening minutes of the match, Naldo shooting wide from distance and Simon Kjaer heading Diego's corner off target.
However, it was Bayer who took the lead in the 12th minute when Andre Schurrle turned in Lars Bender's cross from close range.
Stefan Kiessling came close to making it 2-0 to the hosts six minutes later, before Makoto Hasebe had a chance for Wolfsburg midway through the second half.
Gonzalo Castro and Stefan Reinartz both saw their attempts saved towards the end of the first half, as Bayer went into the break on a stronger note.
Wolfsburg did not give up, as Naldo tested Bayer goalkeeper Bernd Leno in the opening 10 minutes of the second period.
The visitors' efforts eventually paid off 20 minutes from time when Kjaer headed home Ricardo Rodriguez's delivery to bag a point for his side.
