Bayer Leverkusen head coach Roger Schmidt has made four changes to his defence for the Bundesliga test against FC Koln.
A 1-0 loss to Monaco in the Champions League was met with criticism in midweek, and Schmidt has responded by handing recalls to Roberto Hilbert, Tin Jedvaj, Emir Spahic and Sebastian Boenisch.
Hakan Calhanoglu is once again expected to play in a central role for the hosts behind lone striker Stefan Kiessling.
There is also a change in defence for the visitors as Dominic Maroh replaces Yannick Gerhardt in a move which is likely to see Mergim Mavraj move into midfield.
Leverkusen: Leno, Hilbert, Jedvaj, Spahic, Boenisch, Bender, Castro, Bellarabi, Son, Calhanoglu, Kiessling
Koln: Horn, Brecko, Maroh, Mavraj, Wimmer, Hector, Lehmann, Vogt, Olkowski, Svento, Ujah
