Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has expressed his belief that his side's Champions League last-16 tie against Arsenal was the toughest draw they could have got.
The reigning European champions were drawn against the Gunners in the last 16 for the second consecutive year, having edged past Arsene Wenger's side on away goals last season.
"It's the toughest draw we could have got. They're going to be really motivated after what happened last year and they're going to be two very intense games," Boateng told the club's official website.
Bayern, who are aiming to become the first side to successfully defend a Champions League crown, are currently gearing up for their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final against Guangzhou Evergrande in Morocco.
