Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery could potentially miss his side's Champions League clash with Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday as the midfielder was unavailable for their league match with Mainz this afternoon.
Ribery has been influential for Pep Guardiola's team so far this season, but the 30-year-old was not available for selection for the Bundesliga clash.
"Bayern are without Ribery today!" read the club's official Twitter feed, according to Goal.com.
"Franck has a laceration of the capsule in the ankle. It's possible he will play on Wednesday in Champions League [but we don't know yet]."
Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga after nine games.
