Arjen Robben fired Bayern Munich into a 2-0 first-leg lead in their Champions League play-off at home to FC Zurich.

The Dutch winger powered home from 25 yards to seal the win for the Bundesliga side.

Danish club Odense ran out 1-0 winners at home to Villareal after Henrik Andreasen capitalised on some ineffective defending from the visitors.

Malmo, who knocked out Rangers in the previous round, lost 4-1 away at Dinamo Zagreb, despite being level 1-1 at half-time.

Genk salvaged an away goal after being 2-0 down away to Maccabi Haifa.

Wisla Krakow claimed a 1-0 home victory against Apoel Nicosia.
