Lukas Podolski has insisted that the German national side have not been affected by Bayern Munich's Champions League defeat to Chelsea.
Eight of Germany's first-team members play for Bayern, who lost on penalties to the Premier League outfit on home turf at the Allianz Arena.
Podolski, who will play for Arsenal next season, has claimed that skipper Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Toni Kroos, Holger Badstuber and Mario Gomez have enough "quality" to focus on Euro 2012.
"It is difficult to find ways to say things to them now," said Podolski. "Personally I had to deal with it as well. I was relegated [with Cologne this year] and you have to live with that.
"In sports there are ups and downs. All eight are great players and our quality on the pitch will not be affected by this result."
The 26-year-old has 95 international caps to his name.
