Bayern Munich have produced an efficient first-half display to lead Werder Bremen 3-0 at the interval in the Bundesliga.
It was a bright start from the hosts, with Eljero Elia forcing Manuel Neuer into action before Aaron Hunt had an effort from close range blocked.
Into the game came Bayern and ahead they went after 21 minutes. Franck Ribery caused havoc down the left and his cross-shot was turned into his own net by Assani Lukimya.
Just six minutes later it was 2-0 to the champions, as a Toni Kroos free kick from the byline was headed hard and low into the net by Daniel van Buyten.
Ribery then got the goal his performance deserved. Thomas Muller was set away down the right and his low cross was controlled and then turned in by the Frenchman, who was wide in the box.
The scoring was complete for the first half, with Bremen requiring a minor miracle to turn it around in the second 45 minutes.
