Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is reportedly in danger of being ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering concussion during Tuesday's DFB-Pokal exit.
The Poland international, who scored Bayern's goal, was clattered by Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak during the semi-final, which resulted in Bayern getting knocked out on penalties.
According to Eurosport, Polish team doctor Jacek Jaroszewski has revealed that Lewandowski has a fractured cheekbone and suffered concussion, which is likely to keep him out of Bayern's Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona next week.
The striker's agent Cezary Kucharski has suggested that his client could miss more than just next week's game, as he tweeted: "After the investigation, it does not look good. I cannot write anymore."
Bayern wrapped up the Bundesliga title last weekend by sealing a 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin at the Allianz Arena.
