Arsene Wenger has reportedly emerged as the favourite to become the new manager of Bayern Munich.
After parting ways with Nico Kovac at the weekend, Bayern are looking to appoint a replacement as soon as possible.
According to the Daily Mail, that has resulted in Bayern being prepared to hand Wenger a contract until the end of the season.
The report suggests that chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is due to hold talks with the Frenchman later this week.
Wenger has not featured in the dugout since ending his long-term association with Arsenal in May 2018.body check tags ::
