Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has stated that he is delighted to be back after starring in the club's 7-0 demolition of Werder Bremen on Saturday.
The 30-year-old bagged two goals and as many assists in the rout - his first game since helping France to World Cup qualification last month - and speaking to reporters after the game, the FIFA Ballon d'Or nominee expressed his delight at returning to fitness.
"I am back," he said. "I am glad that I managed a game. It was great to be back from the start on the pitch. The pain in the rib is as good as gone, so I could play freely."
Pep Guardiola's men extended their lead over third-placed Borussia Dortmund to 10 points, with Jurgen Klopp's side slumping to a 1-0 defeat at home to Bayer Leverkusen.
