Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has said that Mario Gotze could make his Bundesliga bow for the Bavarian giants in this afternoon's game at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 21-year-old caused a stir by agreeing to leave Borussia Dortmund when their arch rivals triggered his £32m release clause, but he has been hampered by injury since arriving at the Allianz Arena.
"If he's fit, then he's got a good chance of playing," Guardiola told reporters. "He's getting there step by step and he will be coming to Frankfurt with us.
"I'll make my mind up about the team at the last minute. I want to see the eyes, the minds and the legs of the players.
"I know that Frankfurt are always dangerous. Especially after international games, it's always hard for Bayern."
Gotze scored twice in a 4-1 friendly win over Hungarian champions FC Gyor last Sunday.
