Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has praised the abilities of his vice captain Bastian Schweinsteiger after the German international made his return from injury in the 5-0 win against Hamburger SV.
Guardiola said that Schweinsteiger would need a few more games to get back to full match fitness, but is an "important" member of the Bayern team.
"Bastian is an outstanding player, and he played very well against Hamburg, although he still needs a few more games," Guardiola told Bundesliga.com. "The fans' reaction showed us how important he is for the team."
Bayern's next game is on Saturday afternoon against relegation-threatened Freiburg.
