Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has insisted that he is pleased with Friday's 1-1 draw at home to Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
Thorben Marx gave the visitors a first-half lead at the Allianz Arena with a contentious penalty before Xherdan Shaqiri came off the bench to earn the league leaders a point.
"I am very happy, even though we only drew 1-1," Heynckes told reporters. "We dictated the game for 90 minutes, especially in the second half. We played outstandingly well and did not give Borussia an opportunity to score.
"It was definitely not easy to defend against them, but I think that we deserved to win because of our second-half performance."
Friday's draw has seen Bayern move 12 points clear at the top of the table.
