Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has said that he is pleased with his side's performance against Wolfsburg in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals.
The newly-crowed German champions reached the final of the competition courtesy of a 6-1 victory over the Wolves in the semi-finals at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
"We've seen a very good semi-final today," he told reporters on Tuesday. "Wolfsburg were strong opponents who matched us for long periods.
"We were better in defence after half time, and that's the be-all and end-all in modern football. We'll always make an impact up front.
"All of us want to win the cup, but it's not as easy as it looks. That was very hard work today."
The other semi-final is between Stuttgart and Freiburg on Wednesday.
