Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has praised the impact of Croatian Mario Mandzukic in the striker's debut season for the Bavarian giants.
Heynckes said that he was particularly pleased with Mandzukic's acceptance of being part of the rotation system that is in action at the club, which has led to the 27-year-old playing fewer league games as other tournaments have progressed.
"I have taken away from him the top scorer in the Bundesliga [by picking him for the DFB-Pokal and Champions League]," Heynckes told the club's official website.
"He accepted and I think that's great. He has a very good professional attitude."
Bayern face league rivals Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on May 25.
