Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has said that he is pleased with the performance of midfielder Javi Martinez so far this season.
The 67-year-old is happy with the way the 24-year-old has played his part in the Bavarian giants' impressive start to their Bundesliga and Champions League campaigns.
"Javi is on the right track and he will become even better," he said.
"When I look at the signings other top clubs in Europe have made this summer, then Martinez has surely been a hit."
Bayern are currently at the top of the Bundesliga table with 27 points from 10 matches, and also lead the Champions League Group F with nine points from four matches.
