Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez has urged the club to put Pep Guardiola's summer arrival out of their minds.
The former Barcelona boss will take over at Munich at the end of the season, but Martinez thinks that it could provide an unnecessary distraction.
"Let's not talk about it much," Martinez, 24, told TZ when asked bout the managerial change.
"For a week, when the agreement was made public, we talked about nothing else.
"Against Greuther Furth [the first game after the Guardiola announcement] we were not good. They have made us aware that the rest of the league is still playing."
Bayern are currently 15 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
