Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that he is "very, very satisfied" with Tuesday night's 1-1 home draw with Schalke 04.
The Bavarians' bid for victory suffered a blow when Jerome Boateng was red-carded on 18 minutes, with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting missing the resulting penalty.
However, 10-man Bayern took a second-half lead through Arjen Robben, before Benedikt Hoewedes equalised on 72 minutes to spare the visitors' blushes.
Guardiola, whose side lost 4-1 to Wolfsburg on Friday, told reporters: "I'm not satisfied, I am very, very, very satisfied.
"Of course we wanted three points, but 70 minutes outnumbered against Schalke is not easy. We had the game very well controlled and had enough chances.
"Our performance was much better than in Wolfsburg. Everything is okay. The red card - no discussion! We were lucky that they have missed the penalty."
Guardiola's side stay eight points clear of Wolfsburg at the top of the Bundesliga.
