Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has been named the Bundsliga Player of the Year for 2013, ahead of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.
The captains of the 36 teams in the 1. Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga voted for the award, with the Frenchman coming out on top.
Ribery, 30, is also up for the Ballon d'Or with his eight goals and 20 assists in 44 appearances key to the success that Bayern have enjoyed in the last two seasons.
The Frenchman was also named the UEFA Best Player in Europe earlier in the year.
