Bayern Munich director of sport Matthias Sammer has stressed the importance of his side restarting their season quickly after the winter break.
The Bavarian giants will have been out of competitive action for more than a month when they resume proceedings against Borussia Monchengladbach on January 24.
They will then face another two games within just nine days of their opening match, and many of their fixtures in the immediate aftermath of the winter break come away from home.
"The message is pretty simple; of our first eight games, six of them are away. We're going to have to get on track quickly, both physically and psychologically," Sammer told the club's official website.
Bayern are currently seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table having dropped just four points all season.
