Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has warned against the danger of a complacent approach ahead of Sunday's DFB-Pokal first-round clash against Nottingen.
Pep Guardiola's side will start the match as firm favourites against a club from the fifth tier of German football, but Muller insists that the 17-time winners will be looking to produce their best after concluding their pre-season preparations.
"We're approaching the weekend and we're focused on the DFB-Pokal," the 25-year-old, whose side start their Bundesliga campaign against Hamburger SV on Friday, told the club's website.
"Everyone thinks that victory is a foregone conclusion, but we're very serious about it."
Bayern were beaten in last season's semi-finals on penalties against Borussia Dortmund, who went on to lose to Wolfsburg in the final.
