Arturo Vidal has returned to training with Bayern Munich after leaving the Chile national squad over reported 'personal problems.'
The 28-year-old told reporters on Wednesday to stop 'making things up' and rejected rumours that disciplinary issues were the reason behind his departure from the team.
According to ESPN, Chilean media initially said that Vidal had left to look after his diabetic son, but images showing the Bayern star having a meal with friends and reports of him being in a casino led to stories that coach Jorge Sampaoli had issued the midfielder with an ultimatum.
The Chilean federation failed to go into detail about his return to Munich but the midfielder has revealed that he will return for Chile's qualifier against Brazil on Wednesday.
Vidal has made 69 appearances for Chile since 2007, scoring 12 goals.
