Bayern Munich can extend their winning Bundesliga run to six games if they claim all three points against Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday.
A victory can top off the German giants' successful couple of weeks after they sealed a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League with an emphatic 7-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 16 on March 11.
Pep Guardiola's side, who will face Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals, had a blip at the start of the year as they suffered a defeat and a draw in an otherwise unblemished season following their winter break.
Since the 1-1 draw with Schalke last month, Bayern have won every league game and scored 27 goals in the process.
They have been more than prolific in front of goal and they have only conceded two goals in their last six top-flight fixtures, while Monchengladbach have had just four goals sent past them in the same amount of games.
Bayern are more than likely to keep their Bundesliga crown this season as they have an 11-point lead over second-placed Wolfsburg, but Monchengladbach have taken advantage of Borussia Dortmund's slip by soaring to third.
Lucien Favre's side are on a five-match unbeaten run, but they have picked up two draws, both being away from home, which gives Bayern the edge in this weekend's clash.
In October, Monchengladbach were able to hold Bayern to a goalless draw on home turf, but they face a Guardiola side who are currently firing in attack.
Following his two goals against Werder Bremen last weekend, Robert Lewandowski could keep his place up front for Bayern, with Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller providing extra attacking threat.
Manuel Neuer could return in goal after Pepe Reina filled in last weekend, while Monchengladbach could field Raffael and Max Kruse up front at the Allianz Arena.
