Bayern Munich have got off to a winning start in their pre-season schedule with a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg.
The friendly kicked off this afternoon with Bayern, who lost the Champions League final to Chelsea in May, taking the lead after half an hour of play courtesy of a Mario Mandzukic penalty.
They soon doubled their lead through Arjen Robben, who powered past the Wolfsburg defence to fire into the back of net and give his side a 2-0 lead at the stroke of half-time.
Wolfsburg managed to get back into the game in the second half and found a consolation goal, which came from Vaclav Pilar a minute before the final whistle.
