Two first-half goals from Arjen Robben were enough for Bayern Munich to beat Eintracht Braunschweig to maintain their lead at the top.
The champions got off to the best possible start and were ahead inside two minutes. Arjen Robben's initial shot from Mario Gotze's cutback hit the post but he followed in to tap into the net.
The goal allowed Bayern to play their patient probing game, although they were struggling to create chances as both Mario Gotze and Toni Kroos had half-chances blocked.
That was until the half-hour mark when Robben slammed the ball high into the net from just inside the box.
It stayed that way until the break, with Braunschweig needing a lot of work in order to get back in the game.
In the second half Bayern peppered the Braunschweig goal with Robben crashing a strike from distance against the bar, but there were no more goals in a simple home win.
