Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba has revealed that he has held contract talks with his current club.
The Austrian international still has more than two years to run on his existing deal at the Allianz Arena, but it is understood that a number of clubs are closely monitoring developments.
It had been claimed that Manchester City would attempt to entice the 23-year-old to England at the end of the season, but Alaba has said that he wants to sign a new deal with the German champions.
"There have been talks with Bayern over a new contract, that is correct. Bayern are my priority. We will see what happens," Alaba told reporters.
Bayern are said to be keen to tie the defender down until June 2021.
