Napoli have reportedly agreed a deal to make Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez their first summer signing.
Gomez is believed to be searching for a new club after slipping behind Mario Mandzukic in the Bayern pecking order.
The 27-year-old has been talking to Napoli representatives and wants to join the Serie A club on a bumper three-year contract, according to German newspaper Bild.
Neither club has made an official comment on the proposed deal, with Rafael Benitez's side believed to be actively searching for a striker capable of replacing prolific talisman Edinson Cavani.
Despite struggling to earn a regular starting berth, Gomez was in fine form for Bayern last weekend, scoring twice in a 3-2 victory over Stuttgart that sealed a historic treble for the Bavarian giants.
