Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has moved to dismiss reports linking the German club with a move for Juventus's Italy star Andrea Pirlo.
Despite already adding seven players to the squad this summer Italian reports claimed that Bayern were looking to bring in Pirlo, but Rummenigge has dismissed the rumours.
In a statement on the club's official website, Rummenigge said: "FC Bayern have neither made an offer to Juventus, nor have FC Bayern had any contact with the player or his agent."
Bayern finished third and second respectively in the last two Bundesliga seasons.
