Current Super Lig champions Besiktas will welcome Adana Demirspor on Tuesday, looking to build on an impressive start that has seen them collect 13 points from their first five league games.
In contrast to their opponents, Adana Demirspor have struggled early on in the season, picking up just five points from their opening fixtures.
Match preview
Besiktas have been imperious early on in the league season, winning four out of five games, and they are still yet to lose in the Super Lig this campaign.
The reigning Turkish champions have been in fine goalscoring touch, netting on 10 occasions in the league and they only conceded their first Super Lig goals of the season on Saturday, when they emerged victorious against Antalyaspor courtesy of a 3-2 scoreline.
They mounted an incredible comeback in that fixture, after going into half time 2-0 down, but three goals in the second period from Ridvan Yilmaz, Michy Batshuayi and Rachid Ghezzal ensured they prolonged their unbeaten league start.
Besiktas have been superb at home, with their only defeat at Vodafone Park this campaign coming in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.
In the league they have won their three fixtures at home with relative ease, scoring seven times across those fixtures, and they are still yet to concede at Vodafone Park in the Super Lig this term, which will mean they head into Tuesday's clash full of confidence.
Adana Demirspor have started slowly on their return to the top flight after earning promotion last season, but they will be buoyant after picking up their first win of the season on Saturday.
A Mario Balotelli penalty and goals from Matias Vargas and Birkir Bjarnason led Adana Demirspor to a 3-1 victory over Rizespor, which ensured they clinched their first three points of the campaign.
A concern for head coach Vincenzo Montella is that they have only earned one point from their two away games, and in those fixtures, they have only managed to score once, whilst conceding five times.
The away side are enjoying their first appearance in the top flight since the 1994-95 season, so league fixtures between the two have been few and far between, but the teams last faced each other in a competitive match in 2015, when Besiktas thrashed Adana Demirspor 4-1 in the Turkish Cup.
Adana Demirspor will be aiming to better the 3-0 defeat they suffered the last time they travelled to Besiktas in the Super Lig back in September 1994.

Team News
Besiktas are still without midfielder Alex Teixeira and defender Domagoj Vida who are both out injured.
Ajdin Hasic is also still unavailable and is a long-term absentee, while Welinton is out after picking up an injury against Borussia Dortmund.
Head coach Sergen Yalcin will also be without Necip Uysal and Mehmet Topal as the pair were forced off in the first half against Antalyaspor.
Adana Demirspor are without David Akintola and Younes Belhanda, who are both out injured for the away side.
The visitors are looking for two consecutive victories, and Montella could name the same team that started the match against Rizespor.
Besiktas possible starting lineup:
Destanoglu; N'Sakala, Souza, Montero, Yilmaz; Ghezzal, Pjanic, Ucan, Hutchinson, Larin; Batshuayi
Adana Demirspor possible starting lineup:
Kaplan; Svensson, Akaydin, Deli, Rassoul; Stambouli, Kurt, Bjarnason; Vargas, Ezeh, Balotelli
We say: Besiktas 2-1 Adana Demirspor
Besiktas have some injury concerns in defence, so they may not be as secure as they usually are, but they still possess quality in the final third, and should have enough to pick up the three points against Adana Demirspor.
