Blackburn Rovers and Watford have gone into half time level in their Championship encounter at Ewood Park this evening.
Rovers were quickest out of the traps and it took two separate pieces of good work from Marco Faraoni, who twice headed away to keep Blackburn from getting in behind the Watford defence.
Striker Jordan Rhodes almost put Blackburn ahead minutes later when he made the most of a poor first-touch to get a shot away on goal, but it crept just wide of the post.
Watford nearly went ahead with their first real attack of the game as Troy Deeney and Javier Acuna teamed up well to play in Lewis McGugan who blazed wide, but the sides went into the break level.
