Goals from Jordan Rhodes and Adam Henley have given Blackburn Rovers a 2-0 half-time lead over Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship this evening.
Wednesday's Will Keane scuffed an early opportunity when he shot straight at Rovers keeper Jason Steele in the centre of goal.
Blackburn took a while to get going in the fixture, but they took the lead with their first real attempt when Rhodes latched on to Chris Brown's headed pass to finish neatly from the six-yard box.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 26th minute thanks to Henley, who received a through-ball from Chris Taylor before converting into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
