Blackburn Rovers have decided not to appeal the red card that was handed to Leon Best on Saturday afternoon.
The Republic of Ireland international was given his marching orders following an altercation with Watford's Marco Cassetti.
Caretaker manager Gary Bowyer said at the time that he would review the incident before making his mind up whether to challenge the decision or not.
Having looked at the evidence, Bowyer has accepted the verdict and Best will now miss the remaining two matches of the season as well as the opening game of the next campaign.
