Blackburn Rovers have reportedly sacked deputy chief executive Paul Hunt following a controversial email sent to the club's owners Venky's in December.
The reported decision is believed to have come to pass following an alleged letter that was emailed to the Indian-based owners calling for manager Steve Kean to be sacked, according to Sky Sports News.
Hunt's words, which were obtained by Sporting Intelligence, claimed that a change needed to be made in the managerial staff during a torrid season for the Lancashire outfit.
Blackburn, who were relegated to the Championship earlier this week, have been publicly supportive of Kean despite anger towards the Scotsman from the club's supporters.
Hunt went on to say in the letter that Kean had "lost the dressing room" over the Christmas period.
