Blackburn Rovers have had another stroke of bad luck after it was confirmed that goalkeeper Paul Robinson has torn a muscle in his calf.
The former England number one has suffered a two-centimetre tear, which will require supportive strapping and could result in the 32-year-old being ruled out for Blackburn's next couple of fixtures.
Rovers manager Steve Kean has been forced to deal with casualties in defence, with centre-back Scott Dann unable to return to action for six weeks due to a groin problem.
Kean has had a difficult time at Ewood Park and a number of the club's supporters continued to display their anger at the Lancashire side by protesting outside of Blackburn's training ground today.
