Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has claimed that his side deserved more from their 1-1 draw with Cardiff City in the Championship.
Rovers needed a late goal from Grant Hanley at Ewood Park last night to earn their second point of the season.
Despite snatching a share of the spoils towards the end of the game, Bowyer believes that Blackburn created enough chances to win the contest.
"We should have won the game, we had some really good chances," he told the club's official website. "I thought we played with a great intensity and a great patience at times and we got the least we deserved.
"We should have won the game with the chances that we had. I thought we showed great character and desire but we have to cut out these sloppy goals quickly."
Blackburn are back in Championship action on Saturday when they make the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.
