Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has praised his side for their resilience during Tuesday's narrow win over Birmingham City in the Championship.
Rovers extended their unbeaten run to three matches last night as Ben Marshall's second-half goal saw them beat the Blues at Ewood Park.
"In the first half we weren't at it," Bowyer told the club's official website. "It was all too much in front and all too nice.
"We had a few choice words with them at half time and I thought they responded magnificently well - Ben Marshall in particular. The most important thing was to win and we've done that. We kept going and saw it out at the end."
Rovers continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Nottingham Forest.
