Blackburn Rovers have extended their unbeaten run of form in the Championship to eight matches following their 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest at Ewood Park this evening.
A win would have moved Paul Lambert's hosts up to seventh position in the standings, but the point has left them in 11th.
Rovers went closest to breaking the deadlock during the first half through Ben Marshall, who saw his deflected effort cannon to safety off the crossbar.
Forest goalkeeper Dorus de Vries was then called into action after the restart to deny Fode Koita's header.
The away side created their best chance in stoppage time when Matt Mills rose highest, but his powerful header was palmed away by Blackburn goalkeeper Jason Steele.
The draw has left the Tricky Trees in 15th spot, six points adrift of the playoffs.
