Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has insisted that prolific frontman Jordan Rhodes is not for sale.
Reports surfaced this afternoon that suggested that a £6m bid had been made by Wigan Athletic for the Rovers' number 11, but Blackburn quickly moved to quell speculation.
"Amidst renewed speculation, Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has once again stressed that Jordan Rhodes is not for sale," tweeted the Lancashire club.
Rhodes, 24, who joined Blackburn from Huddersfield a year ago for £8m, scored twice at the weekend as Blackburn cruised past Bolton Wanderers.
