Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has insisted that striker Jordan Rhodes will not be leaving the club, after he secured a late win over Bolton Wanderers.
Rhodes struck in stoppage time to give Rovers a 1-0 win over their Lancashire rivals at Ewood Park this evening.
The 25-year-old has been linked with several Championship rivals this week, including Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City, but Bowyer is adamant that Rhodes will remain a Rovers player.
"If it was a maths equation question it just wouldn't add up, would it?" Bowyer told Sky Sports News. "Why would you loan our top scorer out?
"He's just scored the winner and will be starting at Charlton."
Rhodes has scored 14 goals for Rovers this term.
