Blackburn defender Christopher Samba is expected to hand in a transfer request at Ewood Park, according to reports.
The Lancashire outfit, who rejected a £5m offer from QPR for the Congo international earlier this week, are understood to be unwilling to sell their star centre-back.
Rovers boss Steve Kean said this week that Samba, who signed a new long-term deal at the club in the summer, has held the team together this season.
The 27-year-old is expected to make a final decision regarding his future in the next 48 hours.
