Blackpool caretaker manager Barry Ferguson has left his role at Bloomfield Road.
Ferguson replaced Paul Ince at the start of the year after a dismal run of form, and while the Seasiders won just three times in 20 matches under the Scot, he helped them retain their Championship status.
However, according to BBC Sport, Ferguson and chairman Karl Oyston struggled to maintain a professional relationship and the decision was taken for the former Rangers player to part ways.
It was revealed yesterday that Dundee United had rejected an approach from Blackpool for their boss Jackie McNamara.
