How Uruguay could line up against Bolivia

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Uruguay could line up for Thursday's Copa America clash with Bolivia.

Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez will look to field his strongest possible side for Thursday's Copa America clash against Bolivia, with a win confirming their place in the knockout stage.

The dangerous pair of Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani and Atletico Madrid man Luis Suarez will again lead the line, with the two players sat second and first respectively in the nation's all time scoring charts.

Record scorer Suarez took his tally to 64 international goals last time out, as he drew his side level on the hour mark to earn their first point of this year's Copa America in a 1-1 draw with Chile.

The pair should again be supported by the attacking threat of the likes of Giorgian De Arrascaeta and Nicolas De la Cruz, as Tabarez will commit bodies forward in a game that they should dominate.

Behind them, exciting Real Madrid prospect Federico Valverde should keep his place, having become an important player for both club and country at the age of 22, with 26 caps to his name.

There is plenty of competition for spots in the midfield, with Inter Milan's Matias Vecino and Juventus' Rodrigo Bentancur both pushing for places, while Lucas Torreira may not be best suited to games that Uruguay will be on the front foot in, as his tackling ability may lend itself better to a tougher game.

Diego Godin and Jose Gimenez will continue their partnership at the heart of the back four, having made a combined 207 international appearances, while Godin's 143 caps is an all-time record for Uruguay.

The defence may be boosted even more experience if Tabarez opts to start Martin Caceres, who has featured 105 times for his nation at the age of 34.

Uruguay possible starting lineup: Muslera; Gonzalez, Gimenez, Godin, Caceres; Vecino, Valverde; De Arrascaeta, De La Cruz; Cavani, Suarez
