Bologna have climbed closer to safety by claiming a point against Parma at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in Serie A.
The breakthrough came on the brink of half time when Nicolo Cherubin collected Lazaros Christodoulopoulos's cross and fired an effort past Antonio Mirante to make it 1-0.
Archimede Morleo came close to doubling the hosts' advantage shortly after the restart, but he could only direct his header into the hands of Mirante from close range.
The Rossoblu continued to press for a second, and Jonathan Cristaldo very nearly found it when he controlled a pass into the box which he whipped towards the bottom corner; however, the effort was cleared away by an opposition player.
Parma levelled the contest 10 minutes from time courtesy of Raffaele Palladino, who latched onto a crossfield pass before finding the back of the net to make it 1-1.
The result takes Bologna three points clear of the relegation zone, while Parma move above Inter Milan into a Europa League spot.
