Antonio Floro Flores's 87th-minute goal has secured victory for Sassuolo at Bologna in the Serie A clash at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
The home side, promoted from Serie B at the end of last season, started the game well with summer signing Mattia Destro forcing a good save from Andrea Consigli in the Sassuolo goal.
Simone Missiroli could have broken the deadlock for the visitors when he headed over the bar from a corner, before Matteo Politano could not find the target with a shot from outside the box.
Politano had another long-range effort saved as the away side began to dominate, but Franco Brienza tested Consigli as Bologna gave their opponents a warning sign.
However, it was the visitors who stole all three points with three minutes remaining when Floro Flores finished off a superb counter with a tidy finish past Antonio Mirante to make it two wins from two for Sassuolo.
