Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is satisfied with his side's draw with Anderlecht to send them through as Group D winners in the Champions League.
The Germans secured a first-place finish above rivals Arsenal on Tuesday night thanks to a 1-1 draw at Signal Iduna Park.
Following Dortmund's poor start to the season, Klopp is glad that they were able to get the right result against the Belgians and end the group phase strongly.
"Some players really had to work hard to make it through the game, but we have secured first place in this group, the maximum possible goal," he is quoted as saying by UEFA.com. "The team are on track. It was everything but perfect, but we wanted a result today to wrap up first place and we got it."
Dortmund are back in Bundesliga action on Saturday when they make the trip to Hertha Berlin.
