Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic will make wholesale changes to his XI for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes.
After earning a nervy 1-0 win in the opening fixture last week, Dortmund demolished Augsburg 5-1 in Bundesliga action on Saturday, where Terzic rotated his resources with the second leg in mind.
Among the players to be recalled will be Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho, who set a new English Champions League record with a staggering 12 successful dribbles last week, and Niclas Fullkrug, scorer of a crisp first-half winner. Sebastien Haller (discomfort) is a doubt but would not have started anyway.
The pair will step in for Youssoufa Moukoko and Donyell Malen, both of whom found the back of the net at the weekend alongside Marco Reus, whose glittering Dortmund career will officially come to an end this summer.
Now is not the time for sentiment, though, and Reus should vacate his spot to Julian Brandt, while Karim Adeyemi - assuming he overcomes a slight knock - is also in line for a recall to the attacking setup.
Marcel Sabitzer and Emre Can are both well-rested and ready to form the double pivot in midfield, and Terzic will be expected to change his entire back four on Tuesday, where Julian Ryerson should battle back from first-leg cramps to start at right-back.
Mats Hummels, Nico Schlotterbeck and Ian Maatsen will also return in front of Gregor Kobel, while Ramy Bensebaini (knee) and Julien Duranville (muscle) will both miss out through injury.
Borussia Dortmund possible starting lineup:
Kobel; Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen; Sabitzer, Can; Sancho, Brandt, Adeyemi; Fullkrug
