There was nothing to separate Borussia Dortmund and Malaga when they met at the Estadio La Rosaleda last week in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Neither Dortmund nor Malaga were able to find the net, which has made Tuesday evening's encounter evenly balanced. The hosting Germans are regarded as the favourites to reach the semi-finals, although an away goal for Malaga would alter that school of thought.
However, any positive result that Malaga may achieve would have to be done without the services of defender Welington and midfielder Manuel Iturra, both of whom are suspended.
On a more positive note for the Spanish outfit, on the two occasions that they have drawn the home leg in UEFA competitions, they have advanced into the next round.
Meanwhile, Dortmund will be without the injured Mats Hummels. The hosts have won all four of their home matches in the Champions League this season. If they were to make that five, they would go into the hat for Friday's semi-final draw.
