Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel has paid tribute to Park Joo-ho after he scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over FC Krasnodar on his full debut.
It looked like Dortmund's winning streak would end in their Europa League opener at Signal Iduna Park before Park netted with a header in stoppage time to secure all three points.
After watching his side extend their run of victories to 10 games in all competitions, Tuchel was quick to pay tribute to the South Korean, who arrived from Mainz 05 in the summer.
"I know Park Joo-ho and I know that you can rely on him 100%," the Dortmund boss told reporters. "It was not easy for him - new team, new surroundings, various positions, half spaces. It took him a while to find his flow, but he worked through it. This bears witness to his great heart.
"Park had to fight some cramps during the game, so it's impressive that he went for the winner in the final minutes."
Dortmund return to Bundesliga action against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
